In recent years, a growing body of evidence has shown that the ability to be mindful provides a number of positive benefits. These include increased ability to manage strong emotions, reduced anxiety, increased composure and an increased sense of wellbeing. Many people also report an increased ability to think clearly, due to the increased awareness of themselves, at work and in relationships with others.

The purpose of this seminar is to introduce practitioners to the concept of mindfulness and the role mindfulness techniques can play in building the Constructive Styles.

Participants will:

  • Gain a greater understanding of both the art and science of mindfulness. What it is and some of the research supporting its benefits.
  • Learn about approaches to developing mindfulness such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
  • Explore how mindfulness techniques may be used in working with clients when using Human Synergistics' diagnostics and the Circumplex.
  • Explore the relationship between reflexivity and mindfulness.
